Du’aa seeking forgiveness

أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِينَ

Anta waliyyunaa fagh-fir lanaa war-hamnaa, wa anta Khayrul-ghaafiriin (7:155)

You are our Protector. So forgive us and show us mercy, for You are the best of those who forgive.

Ameen

This was the du’aa of Sayyidna Musa (Moses) (a.s.), when seventy Jewish leaders who accompanied him to Mount Sinai were punished because of their iniquity.

Ya Allah, forgive the sins of the Ummah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallem), grant that we are not of those who are iniquitous, and grant us protection from those who are iniquitous; strengthen us, ease our hardships and grant us victory over the oppressors and disbelieving people. Ameen.
