Rabbanaa laa taj’alnaa fitnatan lil-qawmiz-zaalimiin(a). Wa najjinaa birahmatika minal-qawmil-kaafiriin. (10:85-86)
Our Lord, do not turn us into a victim of the unjust people and save us through Your mercy from the disbelieving people.
Ameen
This was the du’aa of the Israelites against persecution by the Pharaoh.
(Source: Khalid Baig’s commentary to du’aa #13 in the Accepted Whispers: Munajat-e-Maqbul)
Ya Allah, we seek your protection (especially for our Palestinian brothers and sisters) from persecution by the Israelis and disbelieving people. Ya Allah, safeguard us and do not let us become the oppressor after having tasted oppression, as others before us have done. Alhamdulillah for granting us understanding and an opportunity to seek Your help – You are our Protector.
Ya Allah, forgive the sins of the Ummah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallem), and deliver us from the oppression of others and from the oppression we place on ourselves, and save us from becoming oppressors.
Ya Allah, accept our du’aas despite all errors and deficiencies. Ameen.
