Du’aa – beneficial for all objectives and purposes

Rabbi adkhilnii mudkhala sidqin wa akhrijnii mukhraja sidqin waj-‘al lii min ladunka sultaanan nasiira. (17:80)

My Lord, make me enter through a rightful entrance and leave by a rightful exit and grant me supporting authority from Your presence.

Ameen

Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallem) was taught this du’aa when he was commanded to migrate from Makkah to Madinah. He had been surrounded by the Makkan pagan leaders intent to kill him and he had no visible means of defense, yet Allah Ta’aala shielded him and provided for him a safe exit. Similarly, Madinah was a difficult city to live in because of its weather. Yet, Allah Ta’aala changed it into a very pleasant city, which it has been ever since. Some ‘ulama have stated that this du’aa is beneficial for all objectives and purposes.

Oh Allah, forgive the sins of the Ummah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallem), grant us ease in our affairs, grant us understanding, grant us barakah in all that is good and pleasing to You (including: kindness, compassion, mercy, and humility), grant that our last deed be our best and grant us a death on imaan and a place in the highest Jannah. Ameen.
