Du’aa of Prophet Musa (a.s.)

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي

وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي

وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي

يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

Rabbish-rah lii sadrii. Wa yassir lii amrii. Wah-lul ‘uqdatam min lisaanii. Yafqahuu qawlii. (20:25-28)

My Lord, open up my heart for me, make my task easy for me, and loose a knot from my tongue so they may understand my speech.

This was the du’aa of Prophet Musa (a.s.) when he was commanded to go to the Pharaoh and deliver the message of Allah to the tyrant.

Oh Allah, forgive the sins of the Ummah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallem) strengthen our imaan and grant us ease in our affairs, understanding of Your commands, kindness and humility in our dealings, and strength in our families and youth. Ameen.
