Du’aa – I am weak, lowly and needy

Du'aa 81

Allaahumma innii da’iifun fa qawwi fi ridaaka du’fii, wa khudh ilal-khayri binaasiyatii, waj-‘alil-‘Islaama muntahaa ridaa’ii, wa innii dhaliilun fa a’izzaniii, wa innii faqiirun far-zuqnii. [Buraydah al-Aslami. Mustadrak Hakim #131/1931; Ibid. Al-Jami’ as-Saghir #2882]

O Allah, I am weak; replace my weakness with strength in my pursuits of Your pleasure. Pull me by the forelocks toward good. Make Islam the ultimate object of my pleasure. I am lowly, so give me honor. And I am needy, so provide for me.
